What happened

I received a call saying they were calling on behalf of Bristol Energy. They told me I could have a smart meter and, not having a clue if this was genuine or a scam I declined. The next day I had another call from them. And I asked to be taken off their call list. The third day I had another call, again trying to get me to have a smart meter. I asked to have my name to be removed from their call list again and was told I now had to answer security questions or I couldn’t be removed. On complaining to Bristol Energy they confirmed the call was from SMS. I don’t want daily calls after declining the first time and feel harassed by them.

What I wish had happened

That they stop calling me after I declined. That they also agree to take me off the calling list without insisting on taking me through security ... they know who they called !
