A complaint about McDonalds

What happened

I went to the Brighton m, western road branch this morning arriving at around 10:45. When I arrived, to the right of the door a member of staff was deep in conversation with a young couple, however a young man entered the branch behind him so I followed. The staff at the door shouted to me ‘oi there’s a queue” firstly I do not appreciate or accept being spoken to in that manner by anyone! I merely pointed out that someone had just entered therefore the system wasn’t working very well as which the staff hurled a barrage of abuse at me telling me there were cameras and witnesses and he wasn’t going to accept me abusing him! On entering the staff with attitude then had a further outbreak at me insisting I use your hand sanitizer, I had just done my hands outside with my own alcohol free sanitizer because I have allergies! I did speak to a manager about the staff members attitude however I feel, although the manager was very apologetic and did listen, he was too busy to do anything. On leaving the staff member further harassed me therefore I informed him I had just spoken to his manager about his attitude. This abuse from your staff member continued being shouted at me as I walked away and he could be heard 5 buildings away. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable to be treated in this manner by anyone! Although I look a lot younger than I am, I am a 48 year old father of 3 and had his attitude spilled onto the wrong person I feel very much he would have invoked violence. Utterly disgusting and horrified at the way I have been treated this morning, there was a young couple stood away from the door who saw the entire incident from beginning to end who kept looking at me in pure amazement as to what was going on. This member of staff needs to be retrained and kept as far away from customers as possible, there is too much going on in the world right now to have these kind of imbeciles shouting, and yes I mean shouting, abuse at me as I’m walking away from your restaurant.

What I wish had happened

The manager should have instantly taken him off the door, there should be clearer signs that there is a queue and I should be spoken to in a courteous manner. As you’ve come to learn, without customers you are nothing.
