What happened

ordered treadmill on 29/11 and booked delivery for 10/12. received several emails (4) and texts (5) to confirm delivery date, to which I had to respond to confirm my availability, access and covid-free status. Booked day off (not normally allowed in December) to stay at home; sent 12 hour delivery window by text the day before. No delivery, no contact. Live chat said delivery definitely on its way but may be running late. Next day received an odd email from Jane, info@argos to say "this is a highlands del and you will be contacted" - no further contact and although in Scotland we are 3 hours south of the Highland delivery depot for the couriers - definitely not Highlands and have not moved since delivery booked and confirmed 2 weeks previously. Friday pm received call from local couriers to say they had received treadmill for me from DHL and would deliver it yesterday morning (15/12). They arrived with a BEKO cooker... Cannot contact anyone to speak to at either Argos or DHL and live chat just said that someone would contact me in 48 hours (a week after the delivery was booked). Feeling desperate as this was a huge save/spend for a family Christmas present.

What I wish had happened

I just want to receive my order before Christmas, having selected a delivery slot two weeks before Christmas that was booked a month before. And I would like to speak to a human being who can resolve this quickly.
