What happened

I purchased a tablet fire hd online in order to get an updated version of my present tablet under the impression it would have the same facilities . After I'd opened the box and started the tablet I found it wasn't as I'd hoped. I rang Argos customer services who advised me it would be ok to return it and get a refund. I made a 20 mile round trip to the nearest store only to be told they wouldn't refund because I'd opened the box. After several emails and telephone calls to Argos and Sainsbury's I still have a tablet which cost me £110 and I'm unable to use

What I wish had happened

I wish that Argos had given me correct information at time of purchase and obeyed the law of 'item fit for purchase' which they have totally ignored!!
