What happened

In March 2020 I had been going through I rough time I’m disabled an got scammed an was struggling financially my fault I know I put goods in my basket an as I came through checkout I never paid for some a security stopped me before leaving an gave me no option to pay or apologise just threw a letter at me I was shocked scared never in my life done this an never experienced police I was a mess an depressed also I apologised but he gave me a letter I never read it as I have trouble to process an understand things an I asked what happens now he took the goods away an said after me asking 6 mths banned from the store an any others I was deflated an did the six mths never went in after that I’d been shopping normally for 9 mths thinking it was done an gone away to be stopped by security in November whilst I was shopping with a friend an told I’m banned I asked why a lash at the till shouted out from a mth ago this was in front of the whole store I was confused asked to see manager of Sainsbury’s who also was the security guard led me away from my friend took me to a doorway an said I wasn’t allowed to my friend I had to stand there an was very abrupt an embarrassing for me I asked to see the letter why he said you have been banned for ever from all Sainsbury’s outlets an wouldn’t let me go back in the shop to my friend an ordered me to leave the manager said yes it’s fine to go back but security was very nasty an mean I know I did wrong I apologise an offered to pay for my goods an I never left the shop without them when I was stopped the time before I had been shopping back in there since my six mths was up an it’s been 9 mths an this happened I find it very harsh the treatment I got he then pulled out some letter I had thrown away saying it’s for ever after I had asked how long for was the ban I left confused deflated embarrassed I don’t know what to do I was treated like a criminal which I’m surely not 9 mths I had been shopping since an it was fine to be pulled up an treated this way after I did my six mth ban to be told the ban is for ever can you advice me please an thanks Pauline , also in a shop full of people he asked my name an I could have lied but I told him my full name an cooperated fully I feel it was extremely hard on me for one mistake at a time in my life I was not coping I had victim support workers worker with me an police for being a victim of a scammer an I’m disabled also can you advice me what to do thx Pauline

What I wish had happened

I wish I had an option to pay or an understanding of my situation an some privacy also instead of the whole shop listening an judging an talking about me it wasn’t fair I did the six mths an then presumed after me asking security it was over I learnt my lesson an then to be humiliated 9 mths later I found extremely unfair
