What happened

myself and colleagues poped into Berwickhills Morrisons Middlesbrough to buy our lunch. We all picked a medium salad box drink and wanted something hot as the side to the £3.50 meal deal. we asked for chips and the counter assistant said they had no chips left, we asked what else was part of the meal deal option and she offered us criscuts or wedges. we all choose criscuts. I went to a till point as I had other items. my colleagues went to the self service checkout. I paid and joined my colleagues at the self service. they where having issues as the total was close to £6, no meal deal was registering. I looked at my receipt and noticed I had also been charged full price we asked the customer service assistant at the self service check out to assist, she was very blunt and said "you don't get criscuts as part of the meal deal so leave them if you don't want them" We informed her we where told it was part of the meal deal. we where told there was nothing she could do. I went to the customer service till point however the que was to long for me to wait as I was on my lunch break from work. I had to leave paying nearly double the price for my lunch and feel let down your customer service staff are giving us the incorrect information at a cost to the customer and being of no help when we needed assistance.

What I wish had happened

First thing would be getting the correct information when asking your members of staff for information. secondly tmyour staff being more helpful and at least try to assist us in a better way.
