What happened

Arrived at hotel booked through alpharooms with a disabled child and hotel was closed and had been for several months. Alpharooms now refusing (even though I have it confirmed in writing) to pay back money paid to them. That bad I’ve had to escalate to county court for action

That they paid the money back they have already confirmed in writing is owing to me

What I wish had happened

I want a refund as they couldn’t provide the service I paid for and cancellation was within the 14 day cancel policy under Uk consumer law but more importantly it is morally wrong

What I wish had happened

That I had never bother to ask for a refund and used the credit note that I was offered, now I doubt I will get anything back and no holiday
