What happened
After a call from Arsenal towards the end of last year I agreed to purchase 2 x Avenell Club season tickets (I previously had them but didn't renew a couple of years ago) In February this year I was asked to pay a 25% deposit to secure, which I did. However due to Covid, spectator football has not a gone ahead and is not likely to for the rest of the season. As I cannot have my season tickets, and its a lot of money tied up I have asked for a refund several times and been told no. They says that the Arsenal terms and conditions say that I cannot have a refund now, I have to wait until next year when new season tickets are paid for then they will use that money to issue refunds. I think this is incredibly unfair, they have already had my money since Feb and I want my refund now.
What I wish had happened
For Arsenal to have responded quickly and offered an immediate refund in full, instead of ignoring emails and being so negative and unhelpful.
