What happened
Had to buy a new battery for my wife's car and went online to check the price and order. As the nearest branch is literally around the corner, went straight to the branch to buy, only to discover that the price 'in-branch' is £20 more than online! I mentioned this to the manager and he explained that it is annoying but a Head Office issue. What he did was come to my house and fix the battery! He didn't have to do that.
The impact it had
It basically saved me from fitting a battery that would have taken me half an hour & he did it in 10 minutes.
