What happened
I had a parcel "delivered" to my door. It was meant to be a Fitbit which cost me £160. Looking at the package it had been tapped up with sellotape. One I opened that it was obvious that the plastic packaging round the box had been ripped open and the box had been torn open where the Fitbit was in the box and the Fitbit had been removed. I then checked my CCTV to see who delivered it to see that it had just been thrown at my door on delivery too. I managed to track down the delivery driver who said that his manager had taped the package back up but his manager has denied this. I have complained and had contact with the complaints team but they have just denied that anyone had taped it up as there was nothing on the system to say package was damaged but then say that it must have been machinery that damaged my package. They have all said that because I posted it on social media that they will no longer deliver to my house. I still haven't had any kind of compensation as I am waiting for the sender to investigate also. Hermes are horrendous
What I wish had happened
I would like for Hermes to take responsibility for what has happy. And instead of just offering the delivery driver extra training on how to deliver parcels actually hold someone accountable for what's happened
