What happened
I bought a product on their marketplace and thought it was poor quality so decided to return it. I tried multiple times to do this via the normal routes but the vendor was not responding. When I raised it directly with Amazon, they also experienced an unresponsive vendor so they refunded me directly and helped me avoid waiting any longer
The impact it had
It made me feel that I can trust Amazon to do the right thing... even if their vendors don't! And I am a more loyal customer as a result
