What happened

they lost my packages, then lied to me, then kept hanging up on me

What I wish had happened

they told me my parcels were delivered, but when i informed them that they were wrong they basically called me a liar. this went on for several days, and they still did not update me on what the driver or depot had said. eventually some stranger turned up at my door with my parcels saying he lived quite a bit from me and had found my parcels in his garden buried in snow and took it upon himself to deliver them to me. when i told yodel they told me that they had opened an investigation a few minutes previously( for a complaint i had lodged 3 days prior) and had found the parcels and would deliver them to me today. several times i tried to explain to them that i have the parcels now, only to still be ignored. i brought up the idea of a small goodwill gesture from them to me for all the hassle and stress i had suffered. the response was to hang up on me. this process was repeated several times over the next few hours.anything i go to order online in the future i shall be asking who will deliver it, and if the answer is yodel then i will simply buy it somewhere else. they are the rudest, unprofessional, incompetent company i have dealt with in many years
