What happened

They were suppose to leave parcel on 21st January 2021. It didn`t arrive so checked on line and it had been left on 19th under front of our car.I did not request the item to be left in a safe place due to the fact that there was one of us in the house all week, we live on a very busy main road with heavy traffic and pedestrians and due to the driveway not being secure.The 19th was the day that storm Christoph hit with heavy rain and strong wind it therefore would not be safe to leave it under the car. Also as the item was an XL mens long padded coat it would be near impossible to get it under our volvo. I lodged a complaint to Yodel and they replied saying that the driver did leave the item under front of a red car and pushed a note through the door.I also reported the incident to Top Man where the coat was purchased.As I paid using Paypal I have opened a dispute.

What I wish had happened

For Yodel to be honest as if a note was pushed through the door I would have gone straight out to hopefully find the parcel
