What happened

Every single delivery or parcel pickup that I have had scheduled in the past YEAR has failed. Every single one of them. For four days in a row, Hermes has rescheduled my latest delivery – first saying they will arrive in the afternoon, then last minute changing it to the evening, then not turning up at all and rescheduling for the next day. Then the entire thing happening all over again. Today is the 4th day of this and I have just received another rescheduling text. I have begun to plan the delivery time at least 4-6 hours after they tell me it is due to be expected because I am certain they will not show on time. I am proved right 100% of the time. Sometimes, they're even turning up at my door past 11PM!!! I have even had parcels delivered at 11pm that do not even belong to me, whilst my parcel is transported to someone else's house nearby. Earlier last month I had to return an item to ASOS within a certain timeframe and didn't make it in time because Hermes pickup service failed to show up on three separate occasions. I schedule my plans around these time slots and then they don't even turn up! What is the point of this!? If you can't promise to make a time slot or day, why bother? Royal Mail standard delivery doesn't offer a time or day for this reason and it allows you to get on with your life while you wait. But constantly changing plans, and informing me of different times to make sure I'm in my house is enormously disruptive! What is the issue!? Are your staff overworked? Do you need to hire more drivers? Do you need to raise the pay rate? Probably. What on earth is the problem? I have never in my life encountered such bad service in ANY company I have EVER dealt with. Jesus Christ.

What I wish had happened

I wish my parcel would arrive on time at least once in a single year. I wish that the cycle of delays would end. If it's such an issue getting the parcel delivered on time then just deliver the item without telling me when to expect it!
