What happened

I have a Villa Plus villa booked in Portugal due to depart on 4th June 2020. Current Foreign & Commonwealth guidance in the UK is to avoid all non-essential travel but Villa Plus are refusing to refund my villa booking stating that the villa is available to use and it is not their problem that I cannot get to Portugal (despite them not issuing me with the key codes to access the villa). This goes directly against the guidance from the UK government Competitions & Markets Authority and the statement by the Transport Minister.

What I wish had happened

That Villa Plus had refunded as they originally were suggesting they would. They have changed their stance on refunds so many times, I have now lost all faith in them despite having used them with no issue for the last 5 years.
