What happened

Told our villa was open for us to come despite travel bans and total lockdown in the uk and Spain, they therefore are refusing to give refund. initially said we’d get our money then at the end of the month changed there terms and conditions. Many customers started a Facebook refund page and people from villa plus making fake profiles and sending there staff to spy on what people are saying and doing, One employee was found in the group who is villa plus’s executive social media worker. I’ve never come across a company who would treat people like this and completely lie and go to the lengths they have to retain the money. We are all getting legal advice and what they are doing is illegal. Also even if the villa was open they didn’t send the welcome pack with codes and directions for our villa 10-14 days prior so they cancelled the holiday and have broken the contract. We were booked from 15th may until 29th may. This company needs to be punished for what they have done. Thank you for reading. Richard.

What I wish had happened

Given that they cancelled the holiday they should have given the option of money back or refund at customers choice. We would welcome cash refund we’d never use them again under any circumstance!
