What happened

Booked villa only holiday (for 8 people) to Malaga region of Spain (Villa Trebol, Avenida de Mijas, 36, 29651 Mijas, Malaga), for 1 week leaving on 23rd May till 30 May 2020. Because of coronavirus every country was in lockdown including my destination but the villa company are refusing to pay me back for this weeks holiday costing £2427 as apparently parts of the area were open for business including my villa it’s just that I couldn’t travel there so my fault and that means no money refunded. This is outrageous and definite not true, Spain was in lockdown.

What I wish had happened

Well obviously I would have preferred to go with my family on this half term holiday but the virus has disrupted everyone’s plans, I would like the company to give me a refund of the money I am owed.
