What happened
I have probably been more fortunate than others in that I have only lost my deposit of £875, but I am particularly annoyed as Villa Plus have constantly changed their T&Cs and stance on how they are responding to Covid situation. Originally I asked for a balance extension to the 17th June (my balance was due on the 11th May with travel on the 3rd August) I also said that I would be happy to change to next year and would accept admin charges and any price increase the answer to this was No. After about 3 weeks they started offering balance extensions by this time though they had cancelled my holiday. As stated appreciate this is not as serious as those who have lost the whole amount but does show that Villa Plus keep chopping and changing their approach.
What I wish had happened
I would have liked Villa Plus to have extended my balance payment to the 17th June or until the holiday destination was 'back in business' or alternatively to have allowed me to book for next year
