What happened
Booked a villa only holiday with them in Oct 2019. Booked flights with Jet 2. Paid balance in full 17 Feb 2020. UK went into lockdown 23 March. Due to fly to villa 23 May for 2 weeks. Heard nothing from them until 29 May stating that as we were a "villa only" holiday we were not eligible for a refund. Jet 2 have a similar policy but have fully refunded!!! Anyway, received a 2nd email 4 June stating if we dont have insurance they will review it... Still not heard a thing. They state on both emails not to contact them by email or phone. Very frustrating. We have lost £2585. Customer service appalling. Whole company shocking. They state they are ATOL AND ABAT protected. Have reported them to the CMA. There are lots of us Brits in the same situation. They have basically stolen our money. Please help in anyway. Thank you so much. Lindsey Fosker
What I wish had happened
To have been contacted prior to our departure date offering a full refund or at least an alternative date for next year.
