What happened

Will not refund. I had to cancel my villa booking as Spain was shut down by FCO. Villa plus took a 60% cancellation fee and left me out of pocket. I had no option but to cancel. This shoddy behaviour was apprehended by CMA and Which? so they they then said that they would refund anyone affected by Covid. But they said that does not involve my booking as I voluntarily made the cancellation. They have pocketed my 60% and my deposit and will not refund.

What I wish had happened

That they keep to their word and follow through on their so called good will gesture.
