What happened
Ordered a cooker from Argos and paid extra for installation and recycling, Argos said it will be delivered on 10th December between 7am and 7 pm, I took the day off work and waited at home yet no delivery and no call from Argos, I phoned Argos the next morning and they said it was delivered to a local transport company and they will get the transport company to contact me, a different transport company called me and said they will call again to arrange a delivery but they will have to get in touch with an electrician and call me back, they didn't call back so I called them and I was told they can't give me a delivery date as the electrician only works for them one day a week, I phoned Argos back and Argos insisted my cooker was with a different transport company that called me, by this time I had had enough and said just to cancel my order and give me a full refund, Argos said they can't cancel as the cooker was already dispatched and they will call me back that night but they didn't.
What I wish had happened
I would have liked the cooker to have been delivered and installed on the day Argos said it would as I took the day off work and at this time of year I won't be able to take another day off work.
