What happened

Good morning I just wanted to express the really awful customer service I experienced at your Malton store this morning. I went in at about 7:45 for a bacon sandwich. There was non on the hot food bit at the front of the store so i went to the back where they do them fresh. I was told they didn’t have any bacon, just sausage, but the lady said the café will do takeaway ones. So i made my way to the cafe, this was just after 7:50. I stood there for more than 5 minutes while two ladies who worked there completely ignored me doing things in the back. At one point, one of them came out to the front, totally ignoring me, until I got her attention and asked if I could order something. She rudely and casually (barely looking at me) said ‘we don’t open til 8’ and walked off. It was 7:57! Such a seriously poor show of customer service. If she’d have at least looked at me properly and said ‘sorry, we’re not really supposed to take orders until 8 but it’s only a couple of minutes’ I would have waited. Instead I took my custom elsewhere and I’ll be thinking twice about going to Morrisons again! Yours sincerely Jessica May
