What happened

Couldn't travel due to illness and sent a form online with a doctors letter attached, hadn't heard anything for 6 weeks so rang several times and was told from what I could understand, language barrier!, I wasn't entitled to a refund and just don't know why, The last person I spoke to put the phone down on me,
