What happened

Booked a hotel reservation for full board, hotel emailed to say now not doing food so called Alpharooms 4 days after booking to cancel as they couldn’t provide the service I paid for they asked for time to investigate and I sent them the email from the hotel 2 weeks of investigation and 12 phone calls from me and they said I could not get a refund I could have a voucher or nothing despite my protests that they are breaking UK consumer law so they have my money for 1year the promise of my money back after 1 year, because I will never use them again

What I wish had happened

I want a refund as they couldn’t provide the service I paid for and cancellation was within the 14 day cancel policy under Uk consumer law but more importantly it is morally wrong
