What happened
Holiday booked January 2020 for July 2020 but amended until July 2021 due to covid. Hotel is now closed until 2022 as confirmed by the hotel in email but TUI deny knowledge of this and say I have to wait to be contacted. Holiday balance is due in April and I’m currently on furlough but have to put my holiday dates in for work. Have asked for a refund or free amendment but was told if I wasn’t happy to seek third party advice.
What I wish had happened
Either a refund of my £400 deposit as the hotel has confirmed it is closed until 2022 or at the least a free amendment until next year
