What happened

I had a holiday booked to an Amber destination, my holiday was cancelled but I was told I had to contact ryanair myself even though I booked the holiday as a package. Its taken 2 weeks to even speak to someone just to be told its my choice not to fly so no refund or travel voucher. My choices were to fly in October for a further £400 which I am not able to do or fly to a completely different destination next June for a further £472! They already have almost £600 of my money and I cannot even afford to pay more even if these options were viable. So I've had to just accept that they have taken my money for a service I haven't received. They won't even refund my extra luggage costs that I'd purchased. No help at all.

What I wish had happened

I wish I could have just had a voucher to use for next year, I didn't even ask for a refund so I can't understand why they are point blank refusing to help anyone.
