What happened
I bought an undercounter freezer for my friend and when I checked the email confirmation, it stated that I had bought an undercounter fridge for her instead. This was on the 3rd of January 2021, the delivery was for the 5th Tuesday. Once I realised what had happened I sort to rectify it. I found that there was no one I could phone. I phoned one of the branches on the Monday only to be told that I had to fill in a Returns/Refund form online. I did this and heard nothing back from the company. I phoned a branch again and got the same reply. I filled in the form again and still heard nothing. I phoned the KnowHow line and all I got was options which were all of no help at all. All I’m looking for is a refund of £110.00. I’ve still heard nothing from Currys. I’m very disappointed
What I wish had happened
I’d like to been able phone up someone and stated my complaint , so that I could have stopped the delivery from happening, which it was delivered to my friend’s house. That was a waste of time for the delivery people and for whoever put it on the truck. The guys had to return it to the store. All a complete waste of time. I would also like to have been informed that my money was going to be refunded back to me. They could have contacted me either by email or phone/text. Instead all I’ve had is total silence.
