What happened
Bought a Medion s6645 laptop on line from currys 25th August 2019, the mouse/track pad started to have a mind of its own in June 2020, it was October 2020 before i got it to my local store, informed it was out of warranty, but could make an out of warranty claim, i thought thats great, then the issues started the Knowhow team would not accept it to start with as they dont/cant repair Medion laptops, ithen spent the next 4 weeks calling them with no joy and just getting the run around, i then contacted them by email using resolver, they never responded once to these emails, called them on the 29th December and got redirexted 8 times, that was the final straw, i then sent an email to Alexander Baldock there CEO that had the desired result got a response, they will not repair or replace the laptop as per the consumer protection act 2015 i keep reminding them, and there offer was £302.00 depreciation value, i then found out the laptop has a 2 year warranty and asked them to contact the manufacture there response was that they would return the laptop for me to persue, reminded them that my contract was with them i bought the laptop from them and not the manufacturer, have informed them i will now raise a simple procedure in my local Sheriff court (take them to court in Scotland) I will update on the outcome.
What I wish had happened
That Currys pc world adhered to the consumer act 2015 and treated there customers as human beings. And had repaired/replaced the laptop i never asked them for my money back as i am legally allowed to do this.
