What happened

Covid forced the cancellation of our holiday. It was suppose to go ahead in May 2020. Promised a refund in September 2020. Now the company do not provide time scales or adequate responses. Very concerned with where my refund is. And to be honest I don’t think I will ever get it.

What I wish had happened

A refund when it was promised. And clear communication with what course of action is being taken.

What happened

Cancelled hotel due to covid, covid certificate now required for Spain at extreme unaffordable expense, not advised of at time of booking.. Government warning of non essential travel. Separate flight also has been cancelled by airline. Requested refund, 4 weeks prior to travel (12December 2020) they...

What I wish had happened

I would have expected them to charge 30pp cancel fee and credited the remainder to my credit card immediately, not an argument which is what we all have had.

What happened

Booked holiday for May 2020. Alpharooms cancelled it in April 2020. Despite very many phone calls and e-mails I made to Alpharooms they have refused to give me a cash refund. After 7 months they are still holding my money for a service which they did not supply.

What I wish had happened

When I asked for a cash refund they should have complied with consumer law and returned my money.
